Welcome to FitQuest ("we", "our", or "us"). FitQuest is an AI-powered fitness tracking app that helps you build healthy habits through exercise quests, real-time pose detection, and progress tracking.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the FitQuest mobile application on Google Play. By using FitQuest, you agree to the practices described here.

• Authenticate your account securely via Google Sign-In
• Save and sync your workout progress across sessions
• Display leaderboard rankings among FitQuest users
• Send daily workout reminders (morning & evening notifications)
• Process Pro subscription payments through Razorpay
• Show fitness-relevant ads via Google AdMob
• Improve app performance and fix bugs

FitQuest uses the following trusted third-party services. Each operates under their own privacy policy:

• CAMERA — AI exercise detection (pushups, situps, crunches). Never recorded or stored.
• INTERNET — Firebase sync, ads, and sign-in.
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION — Optional, used only for outdoor run GPS tracking.
• ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION — Step detection for activity-based features.
• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES — Allows you to choose a custom profile photo from gallery.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Daily workout reminder notifications.
• VIBRATE — Haptic feedback on exercise completion.

FitQuest displays ads through Google AdMob, including banner and full-screen interstitial ads. These may be personalized based on your interests using data collected by Google.

You can opt out of personalized ads at any time:

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. To delete your data:

• Contact us at the email address below
• Request deletion through the App settings

All personal data, workout history, and progress are permanently deleted from our Firebase database within 30 days of your deletion request.

FitQuest is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will promptly delete it.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used FitQuest, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, via an in-app notification.

Continued use of FitQuest after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
